Taurus Vinyl is Cornwall's only dedicated vinyl record shop (no CD's here !!)
We are located inside Taurus Books (our sister company) at 22 Fore Street, Liskeard - about a 20 minute drive from Plymouth.
Our large and varied stock is always changing - we have over 5,000 albums & 12" singles, plus around 2,500 7" singles on display, covering all types of music - and this is not the same stock available here on our website! We hope that there is something for every vinyl enthusiast, and with a set price of 50p per 7" and £1.00 per 12", why not pay us a visit - you never know what you might find.

When buying from our website, you can be sure of receiving both a quality product and excellent service. We clean all our vinyl prior to dispatch using a Loricraft PRC3 cleaning machine. This is a vacuum cleaning machine, which literally sucks the dirt and grime out of the groove to give the best possible sound reproduction. We then place the record in a resealable poly sleeve before packing it in a heavy duty mailer, with stiffeners. We try to dispatch all orders within 1 working day and all items for UK customers are sent Recorded Delivery.
Postage Rates are as follows:
UK - First Item £3.00, additional items 75p each
Orders over £50.00 - post free
Europe - First Item £4.00, additional items £1.00 each
Rest of World - First Item £6.00, additional items £2.00 each
We also offer a record cleaning service using our Loricraft machine.
Full details of this service can be found on the 'Record Cleaning' page.
On the 'Record Fairs' page you will find, what we hope to be, the most compehensive list of UK record fairs available on any website or in any magazine. We are constantly searching for details of fairs - so if you know of a UK fair not shown on our list, please send details and we will ensure that it is added immediately.
We grade all our vinyl using the Record Collector grading system. Our current policy is to only list vinyl that can be graded as excellent or above. This means that the record may show some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might also have slight wear and/or creasing.
Stock Wanted - We are always looking to buy good quality vinyl records.
